Gillette's Mach3 Turbo razor blades are spring-loaded, allowing the pressure of the wet shave to adapt to the different skin contours. The lubra strip, which forms a sliding layer when it comes into contact with water, allows the blades to slide gently over the skin. The fading of the sliding strip signals that an optimal shaving result can no longer be achieved and that the razor blade should be changed. During the shave, the extremely thin micro lamellas set up the beard hairs to remove them perfectly at the base. Gillette Mach3 Turbo razor blades can also be used with the Mach3 or M3 Power Sensitve razor.
